I help elect Democrats up and down the ticket by developing creative concepts and copy to make their message come to life in direct mail and digital advertising.
I got my start in politics in 2017 as a digital fellow on the Daniel Biss campaign for governor of Illinois. I went on to write for progressive candidates across the country as a volunteer writer for Run for Something. I also managed a winning local school board campaign in Evanston, IL and served as the digital director for a campaign for Illinois Supreme Court.
In 2018, I joined The Dover Group’s Chicago office as a direct mail and digital copywriter for Democrats at the local, state, and national level.
In my previous life, I spent over a decade as an opera stage director and stage manager at major opera companies throughout the United States, including the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Santa Fe Opera, and Metropolitan Opera in New York City.
These days, I feel very much at home playing a role in the ever-unfolding drama of political campaigns.
